The Studio of Light
The largest professional photographic and film hire studio in the north of England is under new ownership. The studio is open for business hire as usual and we will continue to provide the regular group shoots every 2 weeks on the Thursday evenings from 7pm during the changes being made to the business and premises.
We will be working on a new web site and will transition to the new site once everything is ready. We have an exciting plan for the studio, new products and services, and will reveal all over the next few weeks.
Hire rates from £20 per hour (includes studio hire of all sets, lights, triggers, accessories, props, and light refreshments, models not included in this hourly rate), minimum 2 hour booking. Send us a personal message to enquire about hire availability and our introductory offers.
General studio equipment Includes:
4 x 400 watt light heads (Bowens S-fit) with full variable power
2 x 600 watt light heads (Bowens S-fit) with full variable power
Elinchrom 400 watt style FX head
2 x 750 watt light heads (Bowens S-fit) with full variable power
A selection of other lights for addition effects
8 x RF 102 Recievers with Canon and Nikon transmitters
Pocket Wizard Plus 2 Transcievers x 2
1 x 1.5 metre Octabox (Elinchrom Fit)
1 x 1 metre octabox bowens s-fit
1 x 120cm x 30cm strip box with grid
1 x 60 x 60 cm softbox with grid
Many other soft boxes and reflectors with 20, 30 and 40 degree honeycomb grids
70 cm beauty dish with honeycomb grid
Heavy duty mobile boom arm on dolly for overhead and down lighting
New track and 'ride on' dolly system being installed for video production - 5m straight and 4m 90 degree turn combination

We can now offer an additional brand new service of inhouse printing. We can now facilitate canvas printing to 42" wide format on full cotton canvas as well as standard wide format large scale prints on gloss and lustre photo medias.
